Before I ever became a therapist, I learned how to be independent and dependable long before I learned how to rest. Like many women, I became the person everyone could count on: a mother, wife, friend, employee, disabled Veteran, and eventually a therapist.
Over time, I realized I had become so focused on taking care of everyone else that I slowly disappeared from my own to-do list. Reaching out for my own therapy was one of the hardest and most life-changing decisions I've ever made.
That experience became the foundation of H.E.A.L. Counseling Services LLC. I created my private practice to be the space I once needed for myself. This workbook is a small piece of that space, offered to you, wherever you are in your journey.
